During lunch at the CXO-forum, Gregory Blondeau from Proxyclick, told me a beautiful story on trust he picked up at a training course. A New York hot dog man was very succesful. People lined up to buy his hot dogs. But he lost a lot of time giving people change. Untill he came up with the idea to put a box with change money at the disposal of the customers and let them take the change themselves. The profit was double: he could serve more people and people left larger tips. New way of working is about trust. New leadership too.

Next on stage was Luc Cloet. He blew the audience away with his amazing “Working Tomorrow” project of B-Post and his ‘right in your face’ presenting style. But that’s a different story…

Any comment?
